Berg & Sons 32 oz. Kernel Processing Measuring Cup
1. Fill your 32 oz. cup full, level with the brim.
2. Spread the sample out so you can count all of the cracked kernels, as well as the whole uncracked kernels.
3. If you count more than 2-3 whole (uncracked) kernels per sample, you should discuss how to improve kernel processing with the chopper operator.
4. Be sure to sample several loads per hour. If left unattended, the result may be a loss in energy as unprocessed kernels escape ruminal and intestinal digestion.
